As Accounting Technician for the LTER Network Office, Doug's primary responsibilities include ensuring the accuracy of financial documents submitted by LNO both to the University of New Mexico as well as National Science Foundation, the timely payment of funds due to vendors, and reimbursing various persons traveling to conferences and workshops on behalf of LTER.

Doug came to Albuquerque from Olympia, WA in September 2004 and joined the Network Office in February 2005. His family in Albuquerque consists of his mother, who resides with him, and one cat.
